AGAPS is a member of the Middle East Studies Association (MESA), which is a private, non-profit, learned society that brings together students, scholars, and educators who study the region from all over the world.

AGAPS board and business meetings are held annually at the MESA conference, where we also sponsor panels, host films, announce award winners, and hold a social gathering.

Our annual Business Meetings are held at MESA each year and are always open to members and non-members alike. During these meetings we share our activities from the past year, plans for the coming year, and announce our annual award winners.
