Several publishers will also be holding fascinating events across the five days - including the launch of the Edinburgh Studies on Modern Turkey academic book series and Gingko Library's launch of The Umayyad Mosque of Damascus: Art, Faith and Empire in Early Islam by Alain George. These events will be announced over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: The deadline for registration is midnight 20 June (UK Summer Time). By registering for the BRISMES Conference, you agree to abide by the BRISMES Code of Conduct. If you have any problems with paying the fee by the deadline, please email conference@brismes.org to organise an extension.            You are encouraged to join BRISMES to take advantage of member registration rates (as well as the other benefits of membership, including our flagship journal BJMES). REFUND POLICY: Cancellations made before 20 June 2021 (midnight, UK Summer Time) will be refunded minus a £35 administration fee. Cancellations made after 20 June 2021 (midnight, UK Summer Time) will not receive a refund.
