AGAPS Business Meeting (open to public)

Monday, November 29 from 9:00-11:00 EST (6-8 am PST, 2-4 pm GMT).

We are delighted to let you know that our annual Business meeting, scheduled for Monday, Nov 29 from 9:00-11:00 EST (2:00-4:00 pm GMT) will be open to the general public. So even if you are not registered for this year's virtual MESA conference, we encourage you to join us  using the Zoom link below. During our meeting, we will share with you are recent activities and future plans, as well as announce this year's award winners.

Film Screening and Discussion 

We are also excited to be hosting a special, public screening of the acclaimed short film Al Sit directed by Suzi Mirghani, which will include a moderated discussion with selected cast and crew. The session will run shortly following our Business meeting and starts on Monday the 29th from 11:30am-12:30pm EST using the same Zoom link as the Business meeting above.

Please circulate the details about both the Business meeting and the screening to anyone who might be interested. Registration is not required for either. 


Awards

We will announce the winners live for the 2021 Biennial AGAPS Book Award and Gwenn Okruhlik Dissertation Award during our annual Business meeting on Monday, Nov. 29. Be sure to check out the truly exceptional scholarship on the region produced this year.
