Award Nomination Deadlines Approaching

As we approach the summer season, we also near the AGAPS award deadlines. So we want to remind everyone that we are accepting nominations for our book, dissertation and graduate paper awards according to the following schedule:

  • June 15: Biennial book award deadline
  • Aug. 31: Dissertation and graduate paper deadlines

We encourage members of all disciplines to apply if you have recent critical scholarship befitting these categories with a primary focus on the Arabian Peninsula, which can also be inclusive of the transnational flow of people, goods and ideas across the Gulf, Red Sea and Indian Ocean.
