Applications open for Academic Collaborations projects and LSE-Kuwait Fellowships
The LSE Middle East Centre is happy to announce the renewal of our LSE Kuwait Programme. The Kuwait Programme, funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), aims to establish collaborative research partnerships between LSE and Kuwaiti universities to deliver high-quality research on the challenges facing the country, expand Kuwaiti expertise on these challenges, and produce long-term relationships.
We are currently inviting applications for the Academic Collaborations projects and LSE-Kuwait Fellowships:
Academic Collaborations
Through the Kuwait Academic Collaborations, the Centre runs an open competition for LSE academics (PI) and Kuwait-based academics (co-PI) to form joint research teams for long-term collaborative research and capacity building on policy relevant challenges facing Kuwait today. Collaborations are expected to run as full and equal partnerships, with funding of up to £90,000 per project shared between the two partners.
Deadline for EOIs: 30 November 2023
Kindly find more information on the application process here.
LSE-Kuwait Fellowships
Based in the London School of Economics’ Middle East Centre, or in one of LSE’s research centres or academic departments, the LSE-Kuwait Fellowships allow researchers based at academic or research institutions in Kuwait to visit LSE for three months in order to conduct research related to the Programme's thematic research interests and develop their research capacity and output.
Deadline for EOIs: 4 December 2023.
