About the AGAPS Logo

The AGAPS logo was designed by Patrick Semann. The manner in which our logo was created makes it 100% unique to AGAPS as it is derived literally from our own name. Also, when the logo is refined, the edges look distinctly like waves. This highlights our objective to be inclusive not only of the land and peoples of the Peninsula but also the transnational flow of people, goods and ideas across the waters of the Gulf, Red Sea and Indian Ocean. The colors are made up of both land and sea, which further emphasizes our ideas of connectivity. Enjoy the slideshow!

تم تصميم شعار جمعية دراسات الخليج وشبه الجزيرة العربية من قبل باتريك سيمان وهو شعار مشتق من أسماؤنا مما يعطيه طابعه الفريد. تبدو حواف الشعار كالأمواج، وهذا يوضح هدفنا المتمثل في كوننا نشمل ليس فقط دول وشعوب شبه الجزيرة بل نتخطى بذلك لنعبر تدفق الخليج والبحر الأحمر والمحيط للأشخاص والحاجات والأفكار، مما يصقل بشكل أكبر أفكارنا حول التواصل وتتضح ألوانها باندماج البر والبحر.
